This is Sheila at the Saumarez Manor Market shopping at the Meadow Court Farm stall. The late Jos Watts is here at the stall ready to sell her goods from the farm.
Jos was one of the founders of the  Farmers Markets and with her enthusiasm helped make it so successful.
Her commitment to all things Guernsey and Local and the amount of get up and go and the energy, that she had. All this got her involved in so many parts of Island life and is sadly missed and almost impossible to replace.
The markets will be there as a reminder and all of us stallholders will, continue with all the markets and long may they be there.

This is only one of a few markets, which include Catel Market, Town Market, St.Peters WI and Vale Douzaine.
